## Which one fits

- Choose Pipedream if you are building a product whose users connect their own accounts, such as Slack, Gmail or HubSpot, and your agent must act in them with managed auth across 3,000+ APIs.
- Choose Agentik if your agent needs paid data and media (SEO, social media, ad libraries, contacts, images and video) with no key, plan or account at each provider, billed per call from one prepaid balance.

## Side by side

Read on 10 October 2026. "Not published" means the pages we read say nothing about it, not that Pipedream lacks it. Agentik's column comes from its catalog of 10 October 2026 and its pricing.

## Where Pipedream is the better choice

- **Your users’ own accounts.** Pipedream runs the whole sign-in flow, stores and refreshes each user’s credentials, and runs every tool with that user’s account, so a product can offer its users 3,000+ integrations. Agentik does not act in mail, chat or CRM apps.
- **A proxy for any endpoint.** When no prebuilt tool fits, the Connect proxy sends any request to any of its 3,000+ APIs with the user’s credentials attached.
- **Triggers that stream events.** Deployed triggers send events from your users’ apps to your app in real time.
- **Free while you build.** Every feature is free in development, with unlimited team members and no credit card. You pay once real users reach production.
- **Enterprise terms.** The Business plan adds SSO, SCIM, HIPAA, dedicated static egress IPs and SLAs.

## Where Agentik is different

- **No account at each provider.** For public data and AI models, Agentik holds the provider accounts: your agent uses 2,287 tools from 52 providers with one balance, no key or plan at any of them.
- **Billed per call, not per user or compute.** Agentik charges each call at the provider’s price from a prepaid balance, with 0% markup on tool calls; top-ups carry 5.5%, minimum $0.80. Pipedream’s Startup plan counts users and credits of compute time.
- **Your own ad and analytics accounts.** 650 tools read and change your ad accounts, Google Analytics and Search Console, connected once per workspace. Changes are previewed first and applied only when confirmed.
- **Ad research with an analysis of each ad.** Adspy’s 17 tools search Meta and Google ads and analyse each one, from the same balance as every other tool.
- **A price before every call.** Your agent reads each tool’s price and quotes the call before it runs. Most tools reserve a guaranteed maximum; tools billed at actual cost say so.

## Using both

Pipedream connects your product to your users’ apps; Agentik gives the same agent paid data and media with no keys. Both are MCP servers. Connect both, and your agent calls Pipedream for actions in a user’s apps and Agentik for data and media.

## Questions

### Is Agentik an alternative to Pipedream?

For paid data and media, yes. Agentik serves 2,287 tools from 52 providers with no key or account at each provider. To let your product’s users connect their own apps, such as Slack, Gmail or HubSpot, Pipedream covers what Agentik does not.

### How do Pipedream and Agentik bill?

Pipedream is free in development. Production needs Startup, $99 a month billed annually, with 100 users and 10,000 usage credits a month, then $2 a month per extra user and $0.012 per credit. Agentik has no plan. Each call is billed at the provider’s price from a prepaid balance, with 0% markup on tool calls; top-ups carry 5.5%, minimum $0.80.

### Whose accounts do the tools use?

With Pipedream, each tool runs on the account your user connected, and Pipedream stores and refreshes the credentials. With Agentik, public data and AI models run on the provider accounts Agentik holds; ad and analytics tools use your own accounts, connected once per workspace.

### Can I use Pipedream and Agentik in the same agent?

Yes. Both are MCP servers. Connect both to your agent, and it calls Pipedream for actions in your users’ apps and Agentik for data and media.
