# Iconify icon search

Search hundreds of thousands of open source icons across more than 250 icon sets (Material Design, Lucide, Tabler, Font Awesome, Phosphor...) on the Iconify. Needs query.

Search hundreds of thousands of open source icons across more than 250 icon sets (Material Design, Lucide, Tabler, Font Awesome, Phosphor...) on the Iconify API: icon names as 'prefix:name', plus each matching set's name, author and licence. Get the SVG with iconify/icon-svg. limit (at least 32) is where the result window ends and start where it begins: limit 64 with start 32 returns icons 33 to 64. Narrow to sets with prefixes (e.g. 'mdi,lucide') to keep one visual style.

## Execute and retrieve

Inspect again before execution, explain the price and obtain the required authority. Use MCP run_tool or POST /v1/run with this tool ID, valid input and an idempotency key. Save the returned run ID and follow the actual state. If Agentik answers that the tool is temporarily unavailable, do not retry it blindly; use discovery to propose an alternative.
