# Open beauty facts product search

Search Open Beauty Facts cosmetics and personal-care products by brand, category, label and country tag, sorted by scans or recency. Takes brand, category, label and more, all optional.

Search Open Beauty Facts cosmetics and personal-care products by brand, category, label and country tag, sorted by scans or recency. Returns the total count and, per product, barcode, name, brands, quantity, category/label/country tags, scan count and front image; read ingredients with open-beauty-facts/product. Brands are slugs ('nivea', 'l-oreal'); categories and labels are tags ('en:shampoos', 'en:vegan'). The same limit as Open Food Facts applies: 10 searches a minute.

## Execute and retrieve

Inspect again before execution, explain the price and obtain the required authority. Use MCP run_tool or POST /v1/run with this tool ID, valid input and an idempotency key.
