# OpenHolidays public holidays

Public holidays of one country between two dates (at most 1,095 days apart, 400 otherwise), compiled from public sources: dates, name in the chosen language. Needs country, date from and date to.

Public holidays of one country between two dates (at most 1,095 days apart, 400 otherwise), compiled from public sources: dates, name in the chosen language, national or regional scope, and the subdivisions where a regional holiday applies (e.g. DE-BY). 36 countries, from 2020: AD AL AT BE BG BR BY CH CZ DE EE ES FR HR HU IE IT LI LT LU LV MC MD MT MX NL PL PT RO RS SE SI SK SM VA ZA. Any other country, including GB and US, returns an empty list. Use for campaign planning, delivery estimates and staffing.

## Execute and retrieve

Inspect again before execution, explain the price and obtain the required authority. Use MCP run_tool or POST /v1/run with this tool ID, valid input and an idempotency key. Save the returned run ID and follow the actual state. If Agentik answers that the tool is temporarily unavailable, do not retry it blindly; use discovery to propose an alternative.
