# Openverse openly licensed audio search

Search openly licensed music and sound recordings (Freesound, Jamendo, Wikimedia) indexed by Openverse: title, audio URL, duration, creator, licence, a ready. Needs q.

Search openly licensed music and sound recordings (Freesound, Jamendo, Wikimedia) indexed by Openverse: title, audio URL, duration, creator, licence, a ready attribution sentence, genres, source. license_type 'commercial' keeps sounds usable commercially; source 'freesound' finds sound effects, category 'music' keeps tagged music. Anonymous access is limited to 20 requests a minute, 200 a day and the first 240 results of a search; the first query on a term can take 20 seconds.

## Execute and retrieve

Inspect again before execution, explain the price and obtain the required authority. Use MCP run_tool or POST /v1/run with this tool ID, valid input and an idempotency key. Save the returned run ID and follow the actual state. If Agentik answers that the tool is temporarily unavailable, do not retry it blindly; use discovery to propose an alternative.
