# Instagram username change count

Get the number of times an Instagram user has changed their username. Needs username. Served by TikHub.

Purpose:
- Get the number of times an Instagram user has changed their username
Parameters:
- username: Instagram username (required)
Return:
- username: Instagram username
- former_username_count: Number of username changes (a non-negative integer)
- has_former_usernames: Whether the username has changed; true when the count is greater than 0 and false when it is 0
Note:
- Only the change count is provided, not individual former usernames or change dates
- A successfully retrieved count of 0 is still a billable result, not an empty list
- An error is returned when the count cannot be retrieved; an unknown count is not treated as 0
