# Wikimedia article pageviews

Daily or monthly view counts of one Wikipedia (or other Wikimedia) article between two dates. Needs article, start and end.

Daily or monthly view counts of one Wikipedia (or other Wikimedia) article between two dates. Use it to measure public interest in a brand, person, product or topic over time and to spot spikes. Titles use the article name as on the wiki (spaces or underscores both work). Use monthly granularity for ranges over a few months. 404 when the article has no views in the range or does not exist.

## Execute and retrieve

Inspect again before execution, explain the price and obtain the required authority. Use MCP run_tool or POST /v1/run with this tool ID, valid input and an idempotency key. Save the returned run ID and follow the actual state. If Agentik answers that the tool is temporarily unavailable, do not retry it blindly; use discovery to propose an alternative.
