# Upload X Ads media

Upload an image, GIF or MP4 clip to X. Works on your own X Ads account, connected through Get MCP Ads. The preview is free; the change costs $0.05 when you confirm it. Needs account id, media base64 and media type.

Upload an image, GIF or MP4 clip to X. Preview includes size and SHA-256 only. X API credits may be charged. Images use one request; video/GIF use initialize, append and finalize without retries. Check processing before registering the returned media_key with create_media_library_item. Does not create or activate an ad. Agentik price: free to preview; $0.05 when the change is applied (confirm: true without validateOnly).
