How much will it cost my AI agent to generate a video?

Estimate AI agent video generation costs by duration, audio and model settings.

By Agentik · Updated

Video cost depends on the exact operation and settings, including duration, audio and model tier. Agentik exposes the selected tool’s pricing contract so an agent can estimate a bounded call before submission. Compare the cost of the requested clip, not a headline “per video” amount that omits those parameters.

Translate the creative brief into billable settings

Start with duration, aspect ratio, audio requirement and any reference images or shots. A text-to-video endpoint and an image-to-video endpoint can have different inputs and rates. Inspect the actual schema before the agent promises a particular edit or runtime.

The catalog includes fal/kling-v3-pro-text-to-video with duration and generate_audio settings. Its audio setting changes the pricing contract. Read the current tool page and submit explicit settings rather than relying on an unnoticed default.

Keep the quote, reservation and useful clip separate

A reservation bounds the selected operation; it is not a claim that the first output will satisfy the brief. Budget for the approved number of attempts and review each output before asking for variants. A failed or partial operation can still require a billing review.

A long-running clip may return a pending run. Preserve the original run identity and follow retrieval instructions. A client timeout is not evidence that generation stopped, and immediate resubmission can create another paid job.

Review the deliverable against the brief

Check duration, framing, motion, subject consistency and audio after the file becomes available. Report what was generated and what remains unsuitable. Do not describe the asset as published or accepted by an ad platform solely because a file URL was returned.

Keep optional finishing work separate: voiceover, music, editing, captions and additional ratios can be distinct operations. Present those costs as proposed follow-ups rather than hiding them in an apparently complete first estimate.

What you pay for

Supported paid tools use Agentik's prepaid workspace balance. Inspect the selected tool's pricing units and maximum before approving a run; a reservation can differ from its settled charge. Funding fees, taxes and your model's usage are separate. Current terms are on the Pricing and Billing pages linked below.

Compare the same clip with audio on and off

Inspect the current Kling tool contract for a five-second clip in each mode. Compute both maxima from those explicit inputs before any paid run. No price or quality benchmark is asserted in this worksheet.

Give this to your agent

Estimate a [duration]-second video for [brief] at [aspect ratio], with [audio requirement]. Discover Agentik video tools and inspect_tool for duration limits, required assets, pricing multipliers and async behavior. Show the maximum for the exact settings and the approved number of attempts. Separate voiceover, editing and variants. Wait for approval before submission; then preserve the run ID and retrieve it until the actual completion state is known.

Your agent should inspect the tools and ask for missing inputs before proposing any paid work.

AI video adsAt most $3.57

Hooks from your niche’s longest-running video ads, objections from YouTube reviews, then frames, clips, a voiceover and music.

10 video ads studied and 5 transcripts read, 3 YouTube reviews, one product page, 3 frames and 3 clips of 8 seconds, a 60-word voiceover and 24 seconds of music.

This catalog-based reservation maximum belongs to the playbook’s inputs, separately from this guide’s worked example. It is not an executed charge. Optional calls, funding fees, taxes and model usage are excluded.

Questions

Does adding audio change the price?

It can. Inspect the selected model’s pricing adjustments and explicit audio setting before quoting the clip.

Should I submit again after a generation timeout?

Retrieve the existing run first. The provider may still be generating and duplicate submission can add another charge.
