What is a tool?
One capability from a provider, with its own price: a search, a page read, an image model.
What does the setup prompt do?
It only puts instructions on your clipboard. Paste them to your agent: it opens Agentik’s connection guide and configures your app. Authorization still happens in your browser.
Do I need a provider subscription?
No. Tools used through Agentik draw on your workspace credit. Your agent’s own app may still need a subscription, and each tool has its own access requirements.
Can I explore without an account?
Yes. Browse tools and their prices without an account. Running them needs a workspace and, for paid calls, enough credit.
What if a tool call fails?
A rejected call with no provider consumption is refunded. Partially completed jobs may consume credits. An uncertain outcome keeps its reservation until the provider cost is confirmed; unused credit is then released.
Is anything my tools return stored?
Agentik does not store tool input or output payloads in execution history. It keeps receipt metadata and provider job identifiers for billing and follow-up. The selected provider processes your request under its own data terms.
What if my balance runs out?
When available credit cannot cover a call, it is not dispatched. Your workspace shows the available funding options; only a person can confirm a payment or enable supported automatic recharge.
Can I control what my agent spends?
Yes. The balance is the ceiling: your agent can never spend more than you put in. A key can also carry hourly, daily, lifetime or per-tool caps, an allowlist and an expiry.
How does Agentik make money?
A fee applies when you add credit. Tool calls draw on it at the provider’s API price, with no markup. Your workspace shows the available payment terms.
