How can my AI agent read my own analytics and ad accounts?

Connect owned analytics and ad accounts to Agentik with platform consent.

By Agentik · Updated

Private analytics requires authorization from someone who can grant the relevant platform access. Agentik supports connected-account tools for eligible sources, but a public tool connection alone does not authorize your ad accounts or analytics properties. Complete the supported account-consent flow, verify the selected account identifiers and keep analysis scoped to the user’s request.

On this page

Ask the agent to inspect the account-connection operation and use the exact connection link it returns. Complete the platform’s consent flow with an owner or administrator who has the required permissions. A successful sign-in is not proof that the desired account was selected or granted.

After connection, inspect the available sources and identifiers. If the intended property or ad account is missing, report the gap and review the source owner’s permissions rather than guessing an identifier or broadening access.

Define the report before fetching metrics

Provide the account or property, date range, timezone and requested metrics. Preserve the platform’s definitions for conversions, attribution, currency and dimensions. Two sources can report different numbers without either being a simple duplicate of the other.

For cross-channel reports, normalize deliberately and keep provider values available for review. Do not add ratios or percentages as raw totals, and do not equate public competitor observations with authorized private campaign metrics.

Keep read analysis separate from account changes

A reporting request authorizes the relevant reading and analysis. Campaign edits, budget changes and other writes need their own task authority. The agent should show the proposed action and affected account when such a change is actually requested.

Account access and reporting completion also have separate checks. Verify that the returned data covers the selected source and period, then inspect the final analysis. A connection response or HTTP success does not prove that the report is complete.

What you pay for

Supported paid tools use Agentik's prepaid workspace balance. Inspect the selected tool's pricing units and maximum before approving a run; a reservation can differ from its settled charge. Funding fees, taxes and your model's usage are separate. Current terms are on the Pricing and Billing pages linked below.

Prepare an owned-account reporting contract

The checklist verifies the intended source before any analysis. It does not assert that an account has already been connected.

AuthorizationSupported connection completed by the appropriate source owner.
IdentityExact ad account or property ID returned and selected.
ScopeDate range, timezone, currency and metrics specified.

A prompt to try

Connect your agent, then use this prompt with your connected assistant. Keep credentials in the authorized connection.

Give this to your agent

Help me analyze my own [platform] account for [reporting question]. Inspect the Agentik connected-account tools and ask for the required account or property ID, dates, timezone and metrics. If authorization is missing, use the exact connection link returned by the supported connection operation. Verify the granted source before reading data. Preserve platform metric definitions and report gaps. Keep this task read-only; propose any account changes separately for approval.

Your agent should inspect the tools and ask for missing inputs before proposing any paid work.

Last week against the week before from your own GA4, Search Console, Google Ads and Meta Ads accounts, in one report with the three things to act on.

One GA4 property, one Search Console site, one Google Ads and one Meta Ads account, last 7 days against the previous 7.

This catalog-based reservation maximum belongs to the playbook’s inputs, separately from this guide’s worked example. It is not an executed charge. Optional calls, funding fees, taxes and model usage are excluded.

Questions

Does connecting Agentik automatically grant my ad accounts?

No. Private-source access needs the supported platform consent and the required source permissions. Verify the returned account or property IDs.

Can my agent edit campaigns as part of a reporting task?

A read-analysis request does not by itself authorize account changes. Any requested write needs explicit scope and appropriate permission.
