How can my AI agent turn a script into a voiceover?

Create agent voiceovers with supported audio tools in Agentik.

By Agentik · Updated

An agent can turn an approved script into speech using a supported text-to-speech tool. Agentik centralizes tool access and measured billing, while the selected endpoint defines the voice options, text limit and price. Finalize the script before generation and inspect the resulting audio rather than assuming its duration or pronunciation from the text alone.

Choose speech, music or sound effects by the deliverable

A narrated briefing needs text-to-speech. Music and sound effects are separate generation operations with different instructions and review criteria. Do not pass a narration script to an unrelated audio endpoint simply because it appears under the same provider.

For speech, specify language, tone and pronunciation requirements using supported fields. A particular voice or timestamp feature is available only if the exact schema exposes it. Avoid promising a cloned voice or transformation from a generic text-to-speech operation.

Inspect the text unit and size limit

The fal/elevenlabs-tts-v3 catalog record prices its text by characters and declares a maximum input length. Counting words or assuming a fixed duration can give the wrong estimate. Quote the final text with its supported settings before submitting it.

A long briefing may need several calls. Decide how it will be split and assembled without changing the meaning or repeating the introduction. Your application owns any assembly step unless a selected tool explicitly performs it.

Review the file before treating it as ready

Listen for pronunciation, omissions, unexpected pauses and number reading. Check the returned format, accessibility and actual duration. If the script contains source-based claims, keep their references in the written companion brief; a polished voice does not verify those claims.

Return the script, selected settings and output file URL together. Ask before regenerating a section or adding music because those can be additional paid calls. Publication and distribution remain separate actions.

What you pay for

Supported paid tools use Agentik's prepaid workspace balance. Inspect the selected tool's pricing units and maximum before approving a run; a reservation can differ from its settled charge. Funding fees, taxes and your model's usage are separate. Current terms are on the Pricing and Billing pages linked below.

Give this to your agent

Turn [approved script] into a voiceover in [language and tone]. Use Agentik discovery and inspect_tool to select a supported text-to-speech operation. Count its billable text unit and check size limits, voice options and output format. Show the proposed maximum before generation. After approval, return the audio URL, script and settings, and list pronunciation or quality checks. Ask before regenerating or adding music.

Your agent should inspect the tools and ask for missing inputs before proposing any paid work.

Audio news briefingAt most $0.38

Today’s news on your topic, read in full, turned into a two-host audio briefing with a short jingle.

3 news searches, 6 articles read, a two-host script of about 3,000 characters, a 5-second jingle.

This catalog-based reservation maximum belongs to the playbook’s inputs, separately from this guide’s worked example. It is not an executed charge. Optional calls, funding fees, taxes and model usage are excluded.

Questions

Is voiceover pricing based on minutes?

The unit depends on the operation. The cited TTS record uses text characters; inspect the exact endpoint instead of assuming a duration rate.

Does generated audio verify the script’s facts?

No. Verify factual claims in the written source material before narration and retain those references.
