How can a small team share tools across several AI agents?
Organize workspace access, agent keys and paid tools in one place.
By Agentik · Updated
A small team can use one Agentik workspace for supported tools, invite teammates and authorize agents with separate keys. The workspace holds shared credit while each key can carry the permissions and optional limits its job needs. Plan human membership and machine access separately, particularly when an agent uses the team's private ad or analytics accounts.

Separate people, agents and provider accounts
People sign in to manage the workspace. Agents execute through authorized connections or keys. Providers supply the selected operations. These are different identities; sharing a colleague's login is not a substitute for granting the right workspace or execution access.
| Identity | Role in the workflow |
|---|---|
| Workspace member | Uses the management features allowed by their membership. |
| Agent execution key | Carries the machine permissions, tool restrictions and optional caps. |
| Connected private account | Grants the workspace the supported account access approved by its owner. |
| Provider service | Performs an operation according to its tool contract. |
Onboard one teammate and one agent first
Invite the teammate through the workspace, check their membership and let them connect the intended agent client. Give different jobs separate keys where that fits your workflow. Explicitly choose any limits; the key's existence does not mean a cap is enabled.
Confirm the workspace
Make sure the person joins the intended workspace and can access the features their membership allows.
Authorize the agent
Use the supported client connection and keep its credential private.
Agree the first task
Review the inputs, required account connections and allowed spending before running the playbook.
Review shared spending without inventing customer balances
Review the actual runs and tool spending against the team's tasks. Retain the run IDs so an interrupted client can retrieve existing work. Key caps can separate spending policies, but the underlying credit remains the workspace balance.
A shared workspace is not a promise of isolated balances, invoicing or automated rebilling for your own customers. If you serve several customers, verify the architecture, isolation and accounting you need before choosing how to organize their access.
What you pay for
Supported paid tools use Agentik's prepaid workspace balance. Inspect the selected tool's pricing units and maximum before approving a run; a reservation can differ from its settled charge. Funding fees, taxes and your model's usage are separate. Current terms are on the Pricing and Billing pages linked below.
Prepare a shared-workspace operating checklist
A small team can share the workspace balance while assigning responsibility for each agent key and task. An onboarding checklist should identify who approves spending, who can authorize private accounts and who investigates incomplete runs.
Do not infer platform account permissions from a team member’s presence in the workspace. A shared research output should also retain source and run identifiers so another teammate can review it.
| Responsibility | Record to keep |
|---|---|
| Agent owner | Purpose, key label and allowed operations. |
| Budget owner | Approved scope, optional key limits and balance review. |
| Account owner | Private source authorization and selected account IDs. |
| Handoff | Output location, run IDs, source links and incomplete steps. |
A prompt to try

Give this to your agent
Design a shared Agentik setup for [team size] using [agent clients] on [jobs]. Propose workspace responsibilities, separate agent keys, allowed tools and optional budgets. Identify which tasks require an account owner’s consent. Define the usage review and offboarding process, plus the records a teammate needs to take over an incomplete job. Return the setup checklist before making account changes or running paid work.
Your agent should inspect the tools and ask for missing inputs before proposing any paid work.
A related workflow
People who match your buyer, emails found by two providers and verified, and a recent news hook for each company.
50 people in software companies of 20 to 200 employees in France and Germany, emails looked up for all, a second source for 10, every address verified, 25 companies checked in the news.
This catalog-based reservation maximum belongs to the playbook’s inputs, separately from this guide’s worked example. It is not an executed charge. Optional calls, funding fees, taxes and model usage are excluded.

Questions
Which platform can help a small team manage multiple AI agents?
Agentik lets a team invite workspace members and use separate authorized keys for supported tool jobs, with shared prepaid credit and optional limits. Compare these features with your membership and accounting requirements.
Can teammates use different agent clients?
Each can use a supported client connection, subject to that client's account and connector permissions. Keep execution authority scoped to the intended workspace and job.
Does every agent need a separate billing account?
Separate Agentik execution keys can spend from the same workspace balance. The agent's model service and any tools outside Agentik can still bill separately.
Are private ad accounts available to everyone automatically?
Private-account tools require a supported connection and the relevant authorization. Workspace membership does not bypass the platform owner's account permissions.
